KEEP OUR HEROS IN THE FIGHT

RESTORING PURPOSE THROUGH HUNTING AND THE OUTDOORS.

THE BREIF:

  1. Two candidates are being selected to start the process.

  2. Each is being paired with a seasoned hunter.

  3. Tags and logistics are being coordinated for an epic backcountry adventure.

  4. A new weapon system is being built for each of them, including a rifle, optic, ammo, rangefinder, binoculars, tripod, and ballistic shooting solution.

  5. They are being educated, trained, and tested over a multi-day clinic on site in Texas.

  6. All gear is being provided to execute the backcountry hunt for elk, deer, sheep, bear, etc.

  7. The entire process is being documented and produced for publication, in the hopes of reaching and showing other heroes that this is an achievable mission.

THE MISSION:

The mission of The Sierra Zulu Foundation is to use hunting and outdoor adventure to fill the void often left behind when our nation's heroic service members and first responders transition away from a life of service.

It’s easy to find similarities between back country hunting and missions in the deserts of the Middle East, hostage rescues, or responding to active shooter threats in our streets and schools.

For those who have dedicated their lives to serving others, the transition away from that mission can leave behind a profound loss of purpose, direction, and camaraderie.

We believe the skills, discipline, and determination these men and women have spent years developing should not be left behind when their service ends.

Our goal is to help these heroes stay motivated, keep moving forward, and rediscover that sense of purpose through the challenges and rewards of hunting and outdoor adventure. We aim to train, educate, equip, and empower them to apply their hard-earned skills in a new environment—one that demands preparation, perseverance, self-reliance, and a continued commitment to excellence.

Above all, we want them to understand one thing:

The missions haven't stopped.

The theater of operations has simply changed.

This time, you've in command, the next mission is yours to plan.

WHO ARE WE TARGETING

  1. Law enforcement officers with specialized tactical team experience.

  2. Military veterans with combat arms backgrounds.

  3. Individuals with limited backcountry hunting experience.

  4. Those seeking a physical and mental challenge to apply their skills, sharpen their abilities, and maintain a sense of purpose.
